School is always fun when you’re a mermaid! But probably everything is fun when you’re a mermaid.

It’s just an average first day at mermaid school – shine your tail, hang up your fin pack, and it’s time to learn!

There’s the ABSeas, counting shells, music class with trumpet fish, and of course recess, where you can build sandcastles and play in waterspouts.

A story about first days, friendship, and fun, my magical-creature-loving daughters adore Mermaid School.

The water colour illustrations in Mermaid School are not only fitting (WATER colours!) but also extraordinarily lovely.

The natural feeling rhythm of the rhyming text makes this book super easy and enjoyable to read aloud.

My daughters also loved looking for little shells and creatures hidden in the pages.

We can highly recommend this beautiful book!
